Three little animals decided to construct their own houses. The youngest pig was careless and built his house out of wood. The second pig was a little better and built his house out of planks. The largest pig was very diligent and built his house out of solid stone.

The youngest pig cried, "No, no, not by the hair on my chinny chin chin!" But the wolf was too mighty. He blew down the house of straw and the smallest pig ran to his closest house.
- The wolf followed him and said again, "Little pigs, let me in!" The two pigs cried, "No, no, not by the hair on our chinny chin chins!" But the wolf was too powerful. He blew down the house of sticks and both pigs ran to the largest pig's house.
- The wolf followed them and said, "Little pigs, let me in!" But the third pig answered, "{Not by the hair on my chinny chin chin!" The wolf tried to blow down the house of wood but he couldn't. He became furious. Finally, he scampered up the roof but he fell into a pot of boiling water and cooked himself to death.
The animals were safe at last. They lived happily ever after in the solid stone house, {learning that it is important to be careful and think ahead for the future..
